### Dreams 🧫
1. I dreamt of Tristan and Isolde comic twice, I think. Something about my dream made me surface those memories from Eng 21 in Mike’s class twice.
1. The name **Tristan** is of Celtic and Welsh origins, with primary meanings of **"noise," "sorrowful,"** or **"clanking swords."** It has strong literary and historical roots, most famously appearing as a tragic hero in Arthurian legend (_Tristan and Iseult_). [[1](https://www.thebump.com/b/tristan-baby-name), [2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tristan_\(name\)), [3](https://nameberry.com/b/boy-baby-name-tristan), [4](https://www.quora.com/Is-Tristan-a-popular-name-and-why), [5](https://www.mamanatural.com/baby-names/boys/tristan/)]
2. The name breaks down into a few distinct origins:
• **Celtic/Welsh:** Derived from the Brythonic name _Drustanus_ (from _Drust_), which means "noise" or "tumult". It is also interpreted as "clanking swords" or "resonance of iron".
• **French/Latin:** Historically influenced by the French word _triste_ (and Latin _tristis_), which translates to **"sad"** or **"melancholy"**
3. Isolde is a romantic, historic feminine given name of German and Celtic origins. It translates to **"ice battle,"** **"ice ruler,"** or **"she who is gazed upon."** [[1](https://www.thebump.com/b/isolde-baby-name), [2](https://momcozy.com/blogs/baby-names/isolde)]**Name Origins & Meanings**
• **Germanic:** Derived from the Old High German words _īs_ ("ice") and _hiltja_ ("battle").
• **Brythonic/Celtic:** Derives from _adsiltia_, which translates to "she who is gazed upon."
• **Alternative Meanings:** Some Celtic interpretations simply translate it as "the fair one" or "the fair lady."
2. Interpretations: I wonder what this means. Am I gazed at by somebody who is sad? I’m sorry, God! Am I disappointing You somehow? I don’t know if it’s my laziness. It is my laziness, but I can’t really help my hopefully not Parkinson’s. Please, God, I don’t need more complication.
3. Interpretation 2: I remember this Instagram repost of mine about the Passion of the Christ movie where Jesus stares at Barabbas with such a piercing look that allegedly caused the actor to become a Christian. Looking up the definition of Barabbas, is Jesus sad for me? I’m the “[daughter] of the father”. I surely hope I haven’t lost favor with God yet. God, I hope this isn’t the case. If I’m supposed to be the “ice ruler” and ISA is ice. Or I’m Barabbas. Or maybe Jesus feels sad he isn’t me? I surely hope not God!!! Does this mean happy or sad news for me? I cannot tell and I’m equally inclined to panic or be excited.
1. The name **Barabbas** is an Aramaic patronymic name that literally translates to **"son of the father"** (from _bar_ meaning "son" and _abba_ meaning "father"). [[1](https://www.catholic365.com/article/6465/the-significance-of-the-name-barabbas.html), [2](https://www.britannica.com/topic/Barabbas-biblical-figure)]
4. God help me. I am dreaming of more things I can handle.
1. Zuko in a yaoi dream chasing blond Zuko trying to kiss him every step of the way. Well, I was Zuko trying to kiss blond Zuko in a Gameboy-type game universe in darkness. Then blond Zuko transformed into a dog shitting out cookies and I followed it into this Hansel and Gretel house-type where Aang and the others were trapped in. Then Zuko was also captured. I don’t remember much.
1. In the _Avatar_ universe, the show's creators used different Chinese characters throughout the series to write his name, each with its own meaning: [[1](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheLastAirbender/comments/i6e5pt/what_does_zukos_name_translate_to/), [2](https://x.com/LuciaLobosvilla/status/1781017599817715893)]
• **"Bandit / Robber" (祖寇):** The Chinese characters on Zuko's Fire Nation wanted poster were 祖 (_zǔ_, meaning "ancestor") and 寇 (_kòu_, meaning "bandit" or "robber").
• **"Awaken / Rise" (蘇科):** The characters 蘇 (_sū_) and 科 (_kē_) appeared in _The Tales of Ba Sing Se_, phonetically translating to "awaken rank".
• **"One Who Rises to Great Heights" (豎髙):** In _The Search_ comic series, a letter written by his mother spells his name as 豎髙, reflecting high aspirations. 2. According to normal search, Aubrey doesn’t mean blonde ruler. But elf ruler. I followed Ma’am Marby (Ma’am Marie Aubrey Villaceran) yesterday. Something related to Tolkien. This is another Nikki reference. Zuko is Vico chasing Nikki into a trap. I can’t believe my brain made her a shitting dog that shits out cookies.
3. Interpretation 2: the Face Stealer only returned the humans in Avatar when they returned an artifact—a statuette of its mother. I wonder if God is trying to talk to me about Mary. Lord, what else do You want me to know?
3. The name **Hansel** is a masculine name of German and Scandinavian origin, meaning **"God is gracious"** or **"gift of God"**. It is a diminutive (affectionate variation) of the name Hans, which is the traditional German short form of Johannes (John). 1. Interpretations: I read an article yesterday of Vico liking Zoolander. I saw that article again, not that I didn’t already know it. Hansel as a blond character in Zoolander. I’m Hansel?
1. **Owen** is a masculine name of Welsh and Celtic origin that means **"noble-born,"** **"well-born,"** or **"young warrior."** It is an Anglicized version of the traditional Welsh name _Owain_ (or _Eoghan_ in Irish). [[1](https://www.thebump.com/b/owen-baby-name), [2](https://www.babycenter.com/baby-names/details/owen-3565), [3](https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/owen-name-meaning-203307163.html), [4](https://babynames.com/name/owen)]**Name Origins**
• **Welsh (Owain):** Derived from the Greek name _Eugene_, which translates to "well-born."
• **Celtic/Irish (Eoghan):** Traces back to Gaelic roots, sometimes interpreted to mean "born of the yew tree" or "youth." [[1](https://www.thebump.com/b/owen-baby-name), [2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owen_\(name\)), [3](https://babynames.com/name/owen)]
2. The name **Wilson** is traditionally an English and Scottish patronymic surname meaning **"son of Will"** or **"son of William"**. [[1](https://www.ancestry.com/last-name-meaning/wilson), [2](https://www.findmypast.co.uk/surname/wilson)]**Origins & Deeper Meaning**
• **Root Name:** It derives from "Will" or "William", a name introduced to Britain by the Normans.
• **Etymology:** William comes from the old Germanic elements _wil_ (meaning "will" or "desire") and _helm_ (meaning "helmet" or "protection"). Therefore, the underlying meaning of Wilson can be interpreted as **"son of the resolute protector"**.
1. Interpretations: HPD account of Mike’s (again, not confirmed) followed “Roman helmet guy.”
4. The name **Gretel** is of German origin and means **"pearl."** It serves as a traditional German diminutive (or affectionate nickname) for the name Margarete (equivalent to the English name Margaret), which traces its roots back to the Greek word _margarites_. [[1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gretel), [2](https://www.thebump.com/b/gretel-baby-name), [3](https://momcozy.com/blogs/baby-names/gretel)]
1. Interpretations: I recently saw a lot of pearls on Instagram yesterday. I guess what I see in real life feeds back into my dreams.
2. Normal dream picking up and fetching my mom from this hotel in CDO and I was afraid of the car starting up on its own.
3. Logo dream where I was immortalized on a logo or a coin-type. I don’t remember much else.
### Ruminations 🩻
1. I’M BAWLING. I knew Jesus suffered the worst humiliation on Earth but at 8:54PM today I just realized how deep it went with “crown of thorns.” I never really saw it for what it was. Absolute humiliation. The supposed King of the universe being forced to wear a crown so painful and traumatic and bloody and torturous to carry. The twistedness of it. The way the world has deformed so totally the heritage and honor that Jesus should have gotten in his lifetime. FUCK. I am murderous just thinking about it. But that’s why Jesus is elevated now to the greatest heights of Them all. He bore the brunt of total physical and symbolic annihilation, just to save us. The symbolic weight nobody really noticed (or they did but I can’t google them all right now). Jesus suffering the worst humiliation and denigration and perversion of justice when everyone in the heavens knew exactly what he deserved and exactly what he got on Earth. FUCK!!!!!!! ANYBODY WHO USES HIS NAME IN VAIN OUGHT TO BE STRUCK DOWN, but I’m guessing God is very gracious, indeed.
