I love tinkering, but not tinkering in academia (I am constrained by formal and technical jargon and conventions). I would love to be addicted to academia because it’s a way to credibility and authority and I feel like I only need to be pushed down that steep slope anyway. I wish God would gift it to me, but I can’t ask for too much (I can do it if I really take it seriously like in October/November last year and I felt ecstasy that really didn’t fade for a few hours just blown away by my talent and excellence). A lot of advice today in Vico’s story. If he’s being sensitive to my childhood wound, I should be like that too with other people who are not like me exactly but who have the same emotional logic and core drives.
