## Morning Pages
Still have trouble externalizing my gut reaction — concern, surprise, the expected that is unstated — “Luoy kaayo si Amam” about icecream
## REMINDERS:
1. Ideal is association that readily associates = temporal-parietal junction time flower and pattern recognition = flower petals are patterns, left interior frontal gyrus being the seat for rule-following = Sabby Jake Zyrus inside bottom???
2. Paraphrasing this content, then add, deform, contrast, associate, elaborate, examine, recast, infect with new or old
3. You try to link context as much as possible to the individual items or else you’ll just have free-floating data with no meaning. Also, try to really understand what it is, not just rote.
4. When watching video, like Weapons analysis by StudioBinder, really try to engage your understanding and bring external thought into it as an opposite force, you cannot just be passively ingesting content.
5. Cues: dad noticed I was ignorant, formed analogy on the spot.
6. Visualize your concepts = multi-sensory integration
7. Reminder to stop eating processed food, sugar-highs, and others because the risk is too high.
8. Enriched environment = more brains
9. Pretend it’s that job interview guy.
1. Tracking: End each week with recall test — tell story back **without notes**.
2. Second week. Memory reinforcement: After exercise, do a **5-min “speed recall”** where you retell the story as fast as possible — trains fluency.
3. Tracking: Journal on whether words pop up spontaneously in daily speech.
4. **Week 4: Integration Phase**
- Frequency: 3x per week (slight deload to consolidate gains).
- Encoding: Mix **old + new words**, test long-term retention.
- Social transfer: Try one live conversation or online comment thread where you deliberately use 2–3 words learned that week.
- Consolidation: Replace 1 cardio session with **yoga/stretching** → helps reset nervous system.
- Tracking: Note emotional ease + fluency when using vocab socially.
- **Cycle Repeat**
- After Week 4, you can repeat with harder words or **switch domains** (scientific concepts, math definitions, metaphors).
- Over months, you’ll notice faster recall, easier spontaneous speech, and less “blanking out” under pressure.
- Make sure AI—let’s call him Vin—challenges you. Make it a little combative and less nice.
- Take GABA before thesis presentation
- Improve every day. Do better today than yesterday.
- If you see a list—think of people that you get reminded of
- You need to remind yourself even though it’s redundant: connect to what you know. It is not enough to rely on coincidence or synchrony.
## THOUGHTS ? AXIOMS ? INTENTIONS
The idea of people funding my interests is very appealing—prompted by Dr. Jia with the 40 publications in 5 years.
6:48PM: a little drowsy. Planned to nap anyway and burst forth into a new plane of reality later.
## PROGRESS / MOMENTUM
1. Managed to come up with a response to Jeffrey’s post about managers in denial in less than 1 minute. Not clever, but at least there’s a way: shushing—>quiet—>no problem—>”Remember, when you don’t talk about it, it doesn’t exist.” It’s not that clever, but yeah.
2. Managed to write (with some help from an Ampalaya children’s book) a synopsis for PBBY-Salanga entry (the Rome Forbes story—results by the end of this month) and teacher’s guide. I liked doing it, it was nice.
3. I dreamt about entering a space that had celebrities in it—sort of like the iCarly cast. I don’t remember much else.
4. Decided to do something about my TPN
5. All right. Set out to do bootcamp-style HIIT+AI word game+20m long exercise with memorization that passed the time. I am proud of myself. It’s 5:18PM. I managed to recall 8 out of 20 words working on my mental scratchpad with AI. Although they gave me a clue, I had a moment of genuine magic and noticing how story salience really impacts recall that feels seamless. I also did the word-ends while I took a bath.
