# 14, Tuesday
No idea what happened yesterday, except I recall a mild burst of energy way into the early morning that kept me awake—the anxiety of my academics and the thought of not being able to be interesting when I open my mouth.
One thing I realized about the anxiety of social interactions—your brain doesn’t quite or can’t work out what’s expected of you. You don’t really have the natural fall-back of people pleasing. You’re expected to make people feel comfortable, at ease, comforted if they’re complaining, entertained if you’re smart enough to be witty. This is why it’s so hard to write dialogue. No idea how normal people talk.
## Intentions:
1. Anki sessions -
2. Come up with a tentative list for annotated bibliography
## Happenings:
Ate half a Mcdo burger, ate two Krunch packs. Watched Look Back and it was brilliant. I wish I wrote it. Can’t get over its use of the object as a way to develop the plot, and the characters’ relationship, and it also being the gateway to which the character gets closure and reassurance from another dimension/timeline (which is her comic at the start being one of tragedy and being reincarnated). What I can get from this is that important references transplanted in the future part of the film will inevitably be resonant if it takes an earlier part that’s seemingly not connected but is still sub-plotlike like the comic animation.
