1. A president should be young enough that he knows how to listen to both youth and old people. Someone who respects elders’ opinion while having a direct link to the youth’s concerns and technologies. Someone who actually knows technology. I doubt the president shoulders much of his responsibilities anyway like maybe what his assistant does, remind him to review a bill before it passes into law. I wonder how this would look for presidents who are required in the future to have some sort of virtual presence in the Metaverse. Will they have virtual assistants who are young people? Will those young people be loyal? Will those young people be technologically literate as well as media-literate? I really doubt Duterte had any idea what he was doing. If Leni would have won, then maybe she might be more willing to listen to her daughters of course, who have Ivy League educations that, let’s face it, stand a better chance of bringing our country out of this hell. I really doubt Marcos is going to listen to his son, [sic] (from Lauren Greenfield’s Kingmaker] “they told me if you want money then work in government.” Our country is in the pits not just because uneducated masses who are greedy for partisan control (BBM vs Pinklawan) and natural ignorance borne by technological mind control via TikTok voted him in, but also because of pure and simple greed. When rich people strive to get more dopamine than they already have, like Marcos, they will not care at all about altruistic things. I think Marcos really wants is to “clean up” his father’s legacy. Well, people already think highly of him. What he really wants is for respectable people who are the top of society to give him respect. He wants the respect of high society people from America again, as he has been denied this (he can’t go to America before he became president (?)). Now that Biden is inviting him to America it’s starting. His thirst for respect (and to some extent money and power). He doesn’t care about all the Martial Law victims. Make it so that the only way he is going to earn respect from high society is when he makes reparations and does the things that Leni would have done for the Philippines (get educated in economics, etc. etc.). What people should know about dopamine, and why billionaires who already have it all still want more: they don’t really want more money, they want the chase of getting more money. This is why affairs exist. The “wanting” chemical. No matter how much you have, you will never be satisfied. Although I suspect it’s not just respect he wants. I can never know what he feels about how his family got his wealth. They really didn’t earn it the hard way, like the Walmart people, or the SM malls owners and sons, the old fashioned “old money” way. They got it the dirty way through corruption. How is he going to rationalize that to people in high society? But I believe he might still turn, one day, when he has a "come to Jesus" moment like Zaccheus. He might lose his pride, but he might still turn once he realizes something about reality. I can't tell yet what that form would take. 2. On a sidenote, it’s how I “got” “wealth” or “infamy” by writing ALL_WRITERS_GOTO_HELL and sending it in 2018. Who’s gonna give me any respect in academia? Who wants to touch my thesis? I doubt anyone is gonna wanna touch it. So I guess this is God’s way (or at least, the spirit realm’s way) of playing with reality. “They” want to choose my adviser. I don’t know if Prof. Marby is going to accept it as I have planned. I originally planned for Prof. Anton Juan (because I think he made the script better by showing me the bit about Imelda, or telling me about Dovie Beams), but I really don’t think a play is gonna be right for this.
