Not really sure what I’d been doing in academics my whole life. Except in high school I was “good” at magnetism concepts. Classmates saw it, or IIRC, as something confusing or maybe hard, with the hand gesture heuristics. In college it was Chem 16 with me and the equations of something I don’t remember. I remember not getting high grades in any Chem 16 exams, getting average and to my standards below average grades. But I helped Keziah in some way because I gave her some of my notes. In Chem 26 again I remember getting a high grade in an exam once. There had been a pattern in all three situations. In HS with magnetism I was retracing the logic of the equations and the principles and just reverse engineering it. I’d done it with Chem 16 equations with Keziah, making her these notes with my ‘programming skill’ of testing use cases and edge cases, checking and rechecking if a certain equation will produce a certain answer = if a certain code will produce a certain output always or not, and if not, the exceptions. The Chem 26 one I don’t clearly remember. I was also retracing the logic of an EvangeCube. I literally almost broke it because I was maybe 4-7 trying to see where the stickers were stuck and what corners were attached together or not. I then successfully made my own out of small paper boxes and duct tape. So I guess whatever it is I am potentially interested in, it is ‘reverse engineering.’ Most probably. Figuring out a logic. Working with the principles and just messing around with rules and outputs. Making a replica or facsimile of it, an object, an idea, a work. I wouldn’t think I like problem solving as much as reverse engineering but maybe that is also problem solving. I don’t know why I didn’t like math too much though. Maybe something about my genes and family not really having the aptitude for math.
Jun 29 edit: lol so ‘reverse engineering is also another word for ‘hacking’.

<aside> 🔑 So you have trouble concentrating not only because of your pseudo ADD but also because you are really exhausted from yesterday’s workout. Arm just aches whenever I raise it even to hold a pen. And also you only got 3 hours of sleep. You may have to just grit your teeth through this adjustment period. 2 times a week of hard workouts monday and friday.

Wow. I lasted 6 days before finally turning on the aircon. I thought I could survive. Apparently being on your period raises your body temp. Must be that.
