# I think this was from James Clear 1. Double down on strengths 2. Determine the path of least resistance 3. Growth Mindset - everything is a learning experience # 9, Monday I really thought Notion was gonna change my life. Haven’t really got to making it my second brain yet. I seem to run out of time all the time. I can’t really function without moda/armoda now. I also can’t tell sometimes if my body wants a cool room or a hot room, like it can’t decide. I try to shed some clothes - too cold, I try to put on more layers - too hot. If I just put on a regular shirt with sleeves, I’m still uncomfortable. I don’t get it. I don’t recall feeling like this ever. My body is always tired or my mind is foggy. Why???? I’m only 24. Anyway, I had this idea yesterday. I was watching a vid on YT about Meta’s future plans and how in 2030 it’ll really be a more commercial thing with VR instead of 2022’s clunky box-in-your-face devices. Maybe. So I thought, maybe if Notion will still be around in 2030 I’ll get to read my thoughts on the subject. What would the 2030s look like? I thought, in 2002, nobody had laptops. Then came the pocket laptops with VAIO or something (lol) probably in 2006 or ‘07. And then it was ugly graphics tabs. Fruit Ninja. Phones that don’t really do much. Then 2022 came and everyone really has Apple products everywhere from iPhones to iPads to iMacs that are so fast and sleek and so... polished. Even my Apple Watch is so smooth and so faultless in a way. How it straps onto my wrist so crisply and so neatly. In 2030, I predict there’ll be: 1. Shopee-like companies to displace the monopolies of Lazada and Shopee where CDO will have become a center of commerce and capitalism (lol?). Ultra fast same-day shipping. You can even ship frozen products, which isn’t possible now. My dad says shipping has always been slow even in the 90s with LBC. Wonder why. 2. VR/AR devices that aren’t clunky boxes. 3. Some kind of wonderdrug or types of drugs that make you deal with the information overabundance in a better way and increase your processing speed. I really hate moda now. But I can’t survive school without it. Something to increase cognition. 4. Mall experiences that use VR for shopping. You don’t have to leave your home to go to places. Possibly because COVID will have NOT solved itself and will have mutated into other kinds of diseases. I really want that treadmill where they strap you in place so you can actually walk in place and feel like you’re in a place in the AR/VR world. 5. Maybe our house will have changed a lot. My mom says Ae is planning to build the ground floor into a kind of mezzanine or something. Don’t exactly know what that looks like but I guess renovations to our house will mean we will permanently live here. I really want an indoor garden or more stories so I could start a library business. Or build an indoor pool. I’m really optimistic that our standard of living will be better. I hope my dad’s business doesn’t end up folding or we’ll have to find new ways to earn money. Maybe they’ll be retired. Maybe the Ramovina Arcade will earn much money. 6. I want to actually earn money so I can get to my surgeries. I have a lot of dreams. Most of them are my dopamine neurotransmitters wanting me to get validation. Besides, I am working with the society I am in. It’s survival of the fittest. Even if I don’t get married, ugly people don’t really go far in this society anymore. I have to invest in this because no one will want to pay me in this looks-based society. Possibly: nose job first, forehead reduction/hair transplant, lip reshaping and fat transfer, breast fat transfer, BBL to make my hips rounder, liposuction to make my weirdly-shaped knees look less... sausagey, some skin treatments to make my skin—my really ugly and rough skin, become decent. I hate it. I never got any good genes in the looks department. WTF. I am the only girl in the extended family who does not possess dainty features. Even Am-Am got the nice hands and feet. WTF genes. I also need cheekbone implants, maybe a V-line surgery but I’m a lil scared. orbital decompression but I’m also scared. microblading. bunion surgery (!!!!) after graduation. ankle liposuction, calf reduction (maybe botox only), the barbie shoulders botox treatment to make my cartoonishly short neck look better, i can’t do anything about my man hands but maybe 2030 will have invented something to fix that. I also want the abs etching because my stomach is blah. I wish they had a surgery to fix an undefined back because it’s also blah. almond eye surgery/fox eye surgery/some other 2030 eye surgery to make my droopy eyes look better, eyebag blepharoplasty. That’s all I can think of at the moment 7. I also think there’ll be better ways of schooling. Maybe I can go back to school again. Maybe there’ll be a way to go to school without having to really speak up. Online school? Online degrees? 8. I dread the thought of having to become a freelancer but I really do not want to work for some company. I want a business to make me earn passive income. Need a lot of capital for that. I want to go into entertainment but that’s a hit or miss. 9. Am-am will be in her 20s. Wow. Maybe she’ll look 14-15. I really wish COVID didn’t happen because her progress with physical therapy really stalled. That’s one of the only reasons I hate the pandemic. Aside from being unable to go to Manila or everywhere. 10. AI will be really ubiquitous. I don’t know how but it’s a scary thought. It’ll be so commonplace like the internet now. Nobody used the internet as much in 2002. Yet 20 years later every person, even a masa person, uses it. 11. Maybe good therapy options will have finally reached the PH and I can start doing something about the 2019+++ damage. 12. I really wish I could become a real scholar person and not just some armchair autodidact. 13. Also I wish I would have developed a fitness routine and healthy meal plan not only for myself but also for my family. Food and diet are really important. We eat good meals now, but they’re still not healthy. I’m really glad there’s no more maid but we really need to invest more into what we eat. Along with my future indoor hydroponics garden possibly, I can buy new 2030 appliances that will make things easier like dishwashing, healthy meal prep, or maybe we’ll subscribe to meal subscriptions like those currently existing now that provide you with a set menu. 14. My sister will likely be married to the Johann guy. 8-10 years she’ll be 30 or 32. She’ll be a successful professional and doctor and I’ll be the cat lady tita like Ae Bebot. I wish I wasn’t sad about this but I really can’t help but see a dark future for myself with regard to dating and marriage. No one will want me because I will have been a future retokada. I only want those operations anyway because I want to be respected and equal to her, like how it should have been when I was born. Imagine you’re a guy and your family refuses to buy you a Nintendo when you’re 7 but buys your brother a Wii or Playstation (I think even more expensive), because he’s a favorite and you’re not. Such injustice. You would resent your parents. But it’s an imperfect analogy because the parents can do something about it, while mine can’t. Which is possibly worse also because they really can’t do anything about it even if they wanted to, aside from participating in my beautification process by supporting me and giving me money.
