Making my dad pay for Cash on Delivery and I owe him about 5,400 by the end of May/start of June. It costs so much to be a human. Got damn. Bought screen protector for my iPad that feels more rough so my pencil can write like it’s on paper. Bought a ring because I want to be permanently reminded about my identity in Christ. Bought books that added up to 1,700+. Bought moda that added up to the same amount. Bought whitening face moisturizer and anti-dandruff shampoo that’s specially formulated to get rid of my oddly sebum-y scalp flakes. Bought face masks because they are cold on my face and keep me awake. How on earth am I gonna earn money in the excess of 3,000 dollars a month so I can fulfill my goal of getting 5,000,000 pesos in three years? And that’s just about half of the tuition for the program and living expenses that I’ve calculated, because I plan to earn the rest of it when I eventually go there and have more means to catch up and earn money in their economy and environment, with bigger salaries and whatnot. I could even start amping up my VO training and skills, my bourgeoning spokesperson skills, maybe I might delve into marketing or something. I’m really interested in the latter because I like the sociological aspect of it and persuading people to do things aside from talking to them. I really wanna go to Pittsburgh so I can study DNID. Digital Narrative and Interactive Design. I think it’s the combination of my two interests and I wish this program was available in the Philippines. Compsci and English and a CS course specifically teaching you how to design games! Wow. My life would’ve been so much better if UPD offered this. I neither have super super skills in both but I do have some competence in both. Maybe I will excel there. My second chance to actually fix my academics in a country that I can thrive in. WOW I CANNOT WAIT.
