Gwyneth Chua brouhaha on Twitter provoked spiritual pride (wanting to join in and be seen by others tweeting) and worldliness (cussing) out of me. Basically Twitter is not good for the soul. Unless I have a good reason for actually wanting to be outspoken on Twitter like if I were to have a platform for an advocacy or ministry, which I don't. Not yet. I don't even have the skills. Also, I did a thing where I completed my Activity and Fitness rings three days in a row! 30 minutes of exercise! YEAAAAAHHHH!!!! I also forgot to mention (sorry) that I also prayed and read my Bible for the same days! Way to start the NEW YEAR WITH A RENEWED VIGOR TO BE EXCELLENT FOR GOD. I think this is what I was missing all along. An actual commitment. Turns out, "excellence intended" was missing the "for God's glory" and if someone told me (well, only God could have ruined my life (or allowed it, Calvinists lol) so that I could have my heart change in response to His truth)--if someone told me this about 6-7 years ago I would have been like, yeah true, but I would internally think it's obvious and not take it too seriously. Instead I would've focused on my human strength which is always lacking. I will always fail without God's help. Without God's providence. Without God's permission.
