I'm currently writing this on the third floor of the AS building as I wait for the other Socio 10 class to end.
I sometimes have doubts about whether or not I chose the right major. I mean, I know I did because whenever I read books about programming contests or things like that I get really excited and pumped to read it all and gain all that knowledge. But sometimes, i just don't want to put in the work required. I'm currently reading Outliers and it's a really depressing book and I now know that I have to put in at least 10k hours to be good at something I'm a total noob at. It's disheartening sometimes, when I see other people who've probably clocked in about 5k hours already since they began programming at about 5 years old or something. But really, the least I could do is try my hand at this. I mean, who knows? I'll probably become decent at it in a few years.
