Well, today was rough. Had our 2nd ME and I didn't get to finish it. Because of my incompetence. And then there were like these three guys who finished probably in ten minutes.

It’s not the kind of pain that sears your skin quickly and sharply, but it’s the pain that crawls slowly, and eats up your being bit by bit that you barely notice it, but not because it’s painless, but because you get used to it, and before you know it, it’s eaten up all of your joy, and you’re less human and more of a hollow shell. It's not angry flesh and ugly scars. It's doubt and sadness filling in the lines, becoming a common theme. You can't escape it, it's tethered to you. It's become a part of you because at some point, it had figured out a way to meld with your own natural thoughts seamlessly. A Trojan Horse, a virus, whatever. And it seeks to destroy. It does, believe me. It does. And it will, if you don't do anything.
