today was another day in my quest for productivity and habitual progress. I really want to be efficient. I really want to excel in academics, and I can't do that if I don't practice my willpower muscle. Or my neurons. Today, I ate Omurice and I bought a Chuckie and Swiss Miss packet because there was only one left. Oh yeah, and I woke up really late despite having set an alarm to wake me up at 6:00 in the morning to jog. I really need to like exercising since it promotes brain plasticity, I think. --- For some perspective on how much money I need to be materially content (as if there were such a thing), here are some of the things I dream about possessing: 1. A Fjallraven Bag 2. An Iphone 3. Herbal Essences shampoo (the expensive, old version) 4. A Lizone Battery for my Macbook 5. Mildliners by Zebra 6. Muji Binders with paper with holes 7. Sonicare toothbrushes for my family 8. Be able to live in Oracle Residences and Dorm and also be able to afford to live within the vicinity of expensive restaurants 9. Be able to eat nice food everyday, like fruits, cereals, drinks, imported stuff, I guess 10. Clothes that look and fit me nicely. 11. That mini-trampoline I always see on that Tv store 12. Shoes. I don't really know what brand but it'd be nice to have some sort of variety since I only use two pairs right now 13. Nice underwear 14. Be able to buy stuff on the internet that I like (like those novelty stuff you bookmarked somewhere) 15. Be able to buy those nootropics on reddit 16. A nice security system for my family's house 17. Gifts for my parents (not cheap and not with their own money) 18. Accessories for my macbook and non-existent iPhone Okay, this is just making me really sad for myself. On the other hand, I can view them as goals or milestones. Things I'm grateful for: 1. Having the opportunity to study in UP 2. Having supportive, stable parents who love me no matter what. 3. Being saved by Christ's blood. 4. Having the opportunity to improve my situation instead of being hopeless because of something I can't actively change (like cancer) 5. Having this Macbook to type on. 6. I've survived UP so far. 7. Having a roof over my head and food to eat 8. Having above-average intelligence (I hope) 9. Having some sort of drive left to fulfil my dreams despite being probably depressed. 10. My baby sister Am-am 11. My mom and dad and their wonderful existence 12. My sister Ally, because she's at least one of your only friends 13. Being able to study a field that's competitive and has a high chance of making you financially well-off in the future if you really tried. 14. Not being born in a poor family 15. Being well-versed in English 16. Not being an extrovert with messed up priorities 17. Being able to shift out of Biology 18. Discovering Studyblrs 19. For having dreams of success 20. Brain plasticity
