Why do I only feel the need to write about my life when it's not going well? I mean, I'm having the time of my life now, relatively. I have no homework, no exams to study for, and no academic responsibilities to procrastinate. I just have this backdrop, this over-arching dread of something, that permeates everything I think about. It's made up of anxiety for my future in computer science, catalysed by the fact that I always seem to stalk people on social media who are smarter, prettier, better than me in all aspects of life. They are "winning" so to speak. At what, though? I mean, I get that nobody is truly happy, but I bet they're fulfilled in their professions, their achievements, while I just sit here watching movies I've torrented and letting my brain rot. As if I have one in the first place.
