Study, studying, studied, have studied, etc. Eating two meals in between, but mostly just filling in the free Monday time with music and a little bit of reviewing. I don't know if this is going to define my whole college experience, you know, just staying in my dorm, eating, studying, going to the SC to buy stuff, the works. I don't know if I'll ever have a life outside this bubble. I actually want more time, and I find that if I study, time seems to move really slow, so that's kind of good, I think.
My mom's going here in Manila tomorrow (Today actually), which is Quezon City day, a holiday! (More time). I really need to wake up early and just make myself go through the readings. I hope my brain can cope, because after that really long four month gap between high school and college, my brain sort of became lazy, so much so, that I feel like it would take more than a week to fully adjust myself to college life, with more readings and memorisation plus the fact that I'm in UP.
I really, really do hope that I get decent grades, and I'm actually aiming for Unos, (gotta be optimistic), so that I'll have to give my best, so studying for half a day isn't really enough if I want this bad enough. I hope that God'll help me become more motivated and I don't know, recharge me or something, because I feel very worn down after three hours or so of reading and studying. I know I'm still adjusting but I really do hope that I'll improve. I also hope that I won't make a fool of myself by acting all weird and awkward. I also wish to have more time to study Tagalog because it still feels unnatural for me, even though it's been two weeks since I moved here.
To God, Please, I really, REALLY CANNOT do this without You. My memory and ability to digest information and actually retaining it depends entirely if you allow me to, but I know that I'll really have to study hard for my part. I pray that You'll help me. Please. I hope you give me strength, and wisdom, and patience, and please, I really need to have an improved sense of understanding concepts quickly and being able to remember them even after months of studying it. I know this isn't like high school anymore. So please God, I can never do any of this without you. The thought of surviving a month here, let alone 5, practically scares the motivation out of me. Also, please continue to motivate me with the right reasons, as I can be pretty eager to do things for myself only. I hope You'll change the way I think, and that I would grow to love my course, even though I'm not sure if I actually like it, but I'm trying to. I just know that I'm following what my parents want for me, and I don't really think going into other courses is really feasible at the moment. I wish to graduate with Latin honours, specifically Summa Cum Laude, but I don't have any faith in myself, but I do believe that with You, anything is possible.
