Dear Lord, this is the best day of my life! So far! I won in the Junior Student Convention! Thank you for all your help! Thank you for helping me in the piano, I did my best for your glory and not for myself! Thank you for helping me in the PACEBOWL! Even though we didn't win! Thank you for helping me in the spelling! I knew I did my best but I didn't expect that I would win 1st place! Also, thank you for helping me in my piano! Guess what, we won 1st place! We also won our large and small ensemble. That week was amazing! You know, when I was in my spelling contest, I didn't really prepare much but I still won 1st place! I didn't have confidence in myself and I prayed like this: Lord please help me, I don't know the words; I was really scared when the words were mentioned! I didn't spell most of the words that were mentioned! I prayed and prayed and I was shaking!
I was really nervous! Finally, it ended. It was a three day convention so the winners will be mentioned at the end of the convention. During nighttime, or the other night, I seriously don't remember, that I made a vow to the Lord.
I said, "Lord thank you for helping me in the spelling contest, I did my best for your glory and honour and if I win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place or even nothing, I won't be ashamed," I exclaimed. In the awarding ceremony, When they were announcing the winners of the spelling contest, I was remembering my vow, I listened to the third place winner, then the second, and finally the first! The moment is finally here, Shekinah Glory Christian Academy! Then I became really overjoyed. I didn't expect it and I was almost about to jump! Then after they gave me the medal, I said to the Lord, "Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank youuuu!" I really didn't expect it! I saw my parents very excited and in my heart, I wanted to give the glory and honour to God! I was really, really amazed! That week, I learned how to trust and love God! I even made a vow! He is my strength and my Savior and I really felt glad! Next year, in the next Junior Student Convention and for the rest of my days, I hope to bring honour and glory to the Lord! Yeah! :)
