"Bethany has an exciting future prophesied. [Zechariah 14:4](https://www.bibleref.com/Zechariah/14/Zechariah-14-4.html) says, “On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east.” When Jesus returns to set up His kingdom, it will be to the very place He left: the Mount of Olives near Bethany. Though the ancient town of Bethany may have been small and seemingly insignificant, it will be the scene of a world-changing event: the glorious return of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords ([Revelation 19:11–16](https://www.bibleref.com/Revelation/19/Revelation-19-11.html))." (https://www.gotquestions.org/Bethany-in-the-Bible.html) It's such a nice touch that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead in Bethany. I made a conscious choice to have this place name resonate with _the_ wedding because I believe, once again, that the Bible should be read as a Great Romance, first being with ACCOIYO and BATANY, the union of opposites, and with Christ and His Bride, the church. I chose Bethany Baptist Church at UP Diliman for this reason in "True Love Stories."
